I come from a beautifully diverse family that reflects the rich fabric of our global community. My brother and his Filipino husband are raising three incredible adopted children. My adopted sister, who is American Indian, is married to a Taiwanese-Canadian, and they have two kids. I’m married to a brilliant woman from India, whose sister—married to a Russian—also has two children. And my wife and I are proud parents of one amazing child. Diversity isn’t just a value for me—it’s my lived experience, and it shapes how I lead, listen, and stand up for every family.

I’ve worked across generations, cultures, and identities, and believe strongly that real progress comes from listening to diverse perspectives and leading with transparency.

I serve as a Trustee for the Mercer Island Open Space Conservancy Trust and coach youth girls lacrosse, mentoring young athletes in leadership, confidence, and accountability.
